Has won many awards in drawing and painting, as early as in his kindergarten years. His first formal exhibition was in 1990, Talented Youth Painters Exhibition, at Galery Cipta TIM. Followed by a few more xhibitions, such as 1997 Photography Exhibition at Indonesia - Korea forum, at Taegu, 2003 Photography exhibition for Olympic Culture 2004, Greece, Athe. 2005 Pink Swing Park, Collaboration with Agus Suwage at CP Bienale. Manifesto, Galeri Nasional Jakarta, 2008. His first solo exhibition was “Sketch, photo, image”, at Ark Galerie, Jakarta. Davy always uses simple, daily life items and events as his main objects in his artworks.
